About Everlast Decks
Everlast Decks is a deck builder working on Trex and other composite decks for homeowners in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our work is new decks, replacements, resurfacing, railings, elevated decks, and repairs.
How we approach a deck project
- Structure comes before surface
- New boards are the visible part of a deck project. Whether the frame, footings, and ledger can carry them is the part that decides if the deck is safe, so we look there first.
- We follow the manufacturer's instructions
- Composite boards come with specific rules for joist spacing, fasteners, and gaps. We build to the current instructions for the product you choose.
- We tell you when repair is enough
- A few damaged boards do not always call for a new deck. If a smaller fix will hold, we say so.
- Permits are part of the plan
- Minneapolis requires a permit for much deck work, including rebuilds. We raise it early so it does not become a surprise.
